Question 1:
When I drag the PDF report of an MDS, the field with the contact person is empty. In the MDS itself, however, the contact is displayed as active. Why is that so?
Answer:
This situation will remain in the IMDS for a long time. The reason for this is that the selected contact person is no longer active. With the introduction of the GDPR (European Data Protection Regulation), all contact persons were initially set to inactive and they first had to agree to the use of their data again

Isuzu has updated the information for suppliers.
FCA EMEA (Fiat) and FCA US LLC have updated their information for suppliers.
Suzuki has updated the information for suppliers.
Hyundai Kia Motor Company provides additional information to its suppliers.
Groupe PSA as made IMDS information available to suppliers.
Vinfast has also updated its IMDS supplier information.

Deactivation of Rec019
As announced at our IMDS user meeting in October, Rec019 will be disabled for reporting E/E components. The latest IMDS newsletter states the following:
„It is planned to deactivate the published semi-components of the ZVEI-Rec019 registration in IMDS. After that these semi-components cannot be referenced resp. used anymore in new created MDSs.The IMDS SC is in ongoing discussion with representatives of ZVEI and the supplier associations (AIAG, CLEPA and JAPIA) about the planned deactivation
